Dogtooth (Kynodontas) (2009): One original screenplay – that is until I saw " Castle of Purity" (1973).
Sunshine State (2002): Well written – the two hour plus running time doesn't drag at any stage. The characters are believable with Edie Falco taking the performance honours.
Beast (2022): Idris has had stronger material but this is not too long.
Silver Bears (1977): An interesting mix of European and American performers dressed in suits.
Albino Alligator (1996): The cast have all done better elsewhere and have had better material elsewhere.
Northman, The (2022): Mainly indistinguishable from the others in the genre where all the males have beards or are wanting to grow one. Plenty of yelling and screaming and ooohing and arrring.
Black Swan (2010): The screenplay is unfortunately dominated by a routine male pig character. Natalie can be seen to be trying her best and the dancing segments add some interest to the proceedings.
Bathory (2008): Long but thankfully it doesn't cover the full body count and it is never boring.
Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, The (2002): The screenplay has a good balance between drama and lighter stuff with a cast that fits the bill.; DVD $19.95
James May's Big Ideas (TV Series) (2008): It is the kind of material that will necessarily date but it is still entertaining and worth watching.
