Robot Dreams (2023)
Should be a winner with families in particular. The soundtrack is well chosen, and well used.
Rare Birds (2001)
An appealing screenplay with a message for the gullible.
Hustle (1975)
The screenplay might qualify as anti hero.
Samurai Commando: Mission 1549 (2005)
Great plot idea but the after a while I couldn't distinguish who was fighting who or what side a character was on. The characters also got a bit excited and started yelling at each other hysterically even though (I think) they were meant to be comrades.
American Gangster (2007)
Never ending, but it has its good segments, although overall it has all been done before.
Breaking and Entering (2006)
I thought it lost its way a touch toward the end but the writing was good in the main and the casting was excellent. Both Ray Winstone and Vera Farmiga did some scene stealing.
Wild Side (1995)
Manic.
Man of the West (1958)
Not your standard Western.
Catholic Boys (Heaven Help Us) (1985)
Always interesting but the scenes with the psycho Brother were the best.
Children of the Corn (1984)
Could have been influenced by "The Wicker Man" (1973).
