See No Evil (Blind Terror) (1971): Enjoyed the camera work in particular during the impressive opening sequence.
Lovers of the Arctic Circle (1998): A romantic fantasy – although it doesn't go around in a circle it doesn't go anywhere fast.
Wind Will Carry Us, The (2001): You get caught up in the confines of the small village, then you are released into the panoramic open spaces which are beautifully shot.
Eyes of Laura Mars (1978): The screenplay is a little uneven overall but at least there is some freshness to it and there is some great location shooting of New York.
College (1927): Keaton's agility and timing on display.
Masters of the Universe (1987): There is an enjoyable cheapness about it.
Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005): You would hope that the corporate and financial sectors would learn from Enron(?).
Grizzly Man (2005): We could have done with less of Grizzly Man but the wildlife photography was pretty good.
Heaven's Gate (1980): The screenplay does have its quieter moments but the photography and the action sequences are excellent. John Hurt is a standout in the early scenes but appears very little afterward.
Marty (1955): Romance screenwriters – see how it is done – no need for bedroom scenes or even kissing plus a finish within 90.
