Place in the Sun, A (1951): The plot idea is as old as the hills and although the screenplay is probably correctly paced for time and place it needs patience.
A Change of Seasons (1980): MacLaine and Hopkins wasted.
Battle of Shaker Heights, The (2003): Shia's character is a bit of a pain but the screenplay is not too bad.
Under the Skin (2013): An intriguing screenplay and a splendid performance from Scarlett.
House of 1000 Corpses (2003): The screenplay is a tad untidy but it is never boring.
Dr T and the Women (2000): The screenplay seems a lot of fuss over not much but it is hard to dislike.

Beverly Hills Cop (1984): 40yrs on it is getting a bit dated but it is still entertaining.
Poison Ivy (1992): Sara and Drew work very well as a team and the screenplay is at its best in its early scenes when they are together most.
Soylent Green (1973): Another Godlike performance from Heston detracts somewhat but the screenplay is interesting enough to survive.
