Anti-Trust (2001): A decent enough screenplay that commendably keeps moving along.
Radical (2023): The first half was okay, but the screenplay goes downhill and ends up being a crowd pleaser.; DVD $29.95
Jacket, The (2005): The writing will appeal to those who don't mind being given the runaround.
Big Business (1988): The casting of the four ladies gets the screenplay through.
Merkel (2022): Well done Angela. Among your many attributes, you will be remembered for your dignity.; DVD $29.95
Monkey Bone (2001): Brendan overdoes it a bit. The makeup of the rest of the "characters" ensures that it is never boring.
Monster (Kaibutsu) (2023): It told the story in a roundabout way but it got there in the end.; DVD $29.95
Our Little Sister (Umimachi Diary) (2015): A commercial offering but the four sisters' interactions and the photography make it hard to dislike.
Foxy Brown (1974): There is a great first scene featuring Antonio Fargas but from then on move over males it is Pam Grier v Kathryn Loder.
Private's Progress (1956): Great casting, not just Ian Carmichael in the lead, but Terry Thomas heading an excellent supporting cast.
