Sabrina (1954): The screenplay is undemanding but well written, but the strength is in the casting of Audrey playing a young romantic with Bogart and Holden the old(er) men. Nothing wrong with the support casting either.
Electric Horseman, The (1979): An excellent director and there is nothing wrong with the casting but the screenplay just meanders.
Deadly Companions, The (1961): Not for the first time in a screenplay is Maureen fighting off men (I don't know why). The screenplay is at its best until the inevitable happens.
Tank Girl (1995): Lori is terrific, and during the screenplay, anything goes and usually does.
Harsh Times (2005): Quickly forgettable.
Deathdream (Dead of Night) (1972): A very good plot idea and well written.
And Soon the Darkness (1970): Not great but it has some genuinely suspenseful moments and maybe worth a try.
London to Brighton (2006): Tired of watching commercial cinema(?)
Myth of Fingerprints, The (1997): Another ensemble talkie but Julianne Moore and Blythe Danner ease the passage.
Radiant City (2006): Educational and entertaining both.
