Religious arguments are unsolvable & unending & it is reflected in this film which is too long and therefore loses its impact. Harry Morgan is excellent as the calm judge & provides relief when the 2 leads go over the top. Kelly is a casting mistake.
The plot scenario wasn't too bad but its hard to concentrate on the story telling when there is a distracting performance from the lead to contend with.
Emilio has done well to write, direct and act in this film – its not a total success but not a waste of time for the viewer. Whilst it suffers from too much star power the story telling is helped by some worthwhile archival film.
Much of the kung–fu is filmed in slow motion which is a negative for those interested in the choreography rather than the violence. The first 45 antagonists getting booted through a window is fine but then it gets tiresome. A very commercial offering.
