Stunt Rock (1978)
A good combination of real life stunts and rock.
Point Blank (2010)
The type of action the French do well but there is not a great deal else.
Cruise of the Gods (2002)
The best bits concerned David Walliams. Philip Jackson lurking around in support was also good.
Above and Beyond (TV Mini-Series) (2006)
An interesting and should be told story, but typically with a min–series, it is easily distracted.
Shakespeare Wallah (1965)
Although the screenplay sags a bit toward the end it does give a fair portrayal of the passing of an age in two diverse worlds.
Monk, The (2011)
Vincent is a barrel of laughs. There is a good gothic atmosphere at times but little suspense.
Dogma (1999)
When you have one performer with recognised class – in this case, Alan Rickman – it is interesting to compare the rest of the performers against him. The screenplay is a bit hit and miss but interesting enough.
Daughters of the Dust (1991)
There seems to be little in the way of a normal conversation between the characters – more speechmaking. Beautifully photographed.
Harry and the Hendersons (1987)
For the most part, it is a decent comedy despite the screaming kid.
Heat and Dust (1982)
Very well produced but the screenplay is long and may need patience. Great soundtrack.
