People Places Things (2015): It basically has nothing to it but might appeal if you don't mind a film that has nothing to it.; DVD $19.95
Hellraiser 2: Hellbound (1988): Stands out in a genre that's been thrashed to death – an intelligent screenplay but the highlight is the work of the make–up department.
Restoration (1995): Worth watching for the costumes and set designs not only those involving the debauched right wing but the peasant street scenes. The story is fine but gets a bit sidetracked at times. Good performances from Downey, Thewlis,McKellen & Polly Walker.
Drum Beat (1954): Its too long for its material and some outdoor scenes that are shot on indoor sets detract – but there is some good narrative scattered throughout.
Walking On Sunshine (2014): A couple of tuneful tunes but little else – certainly no originality in the format.
Creed (2015): This is a rip off considering its a re–run of what's gone before. The only reason I can see that the film needs over 2 hours is that it takes Stallone a bit longer than most to get his words out.
Starstruck (2010): Yukkie Disney kids along with bland music is hard viewing. Sits well alongside Hannah Montana & the Jonas Brothers.
Last Will (Nobel's Last Will) (2012): A competently written crime drama with Malin Crepin giving a good lead performance. The film also concerns itself with the role of the press in reporting crime and has a side story on bullying.
Final Girls, The (2015): Taissa Farmiga is good and the concept, although bits of it seem to be have been done before, is entertaining.
Thomas Crown Affair, The (1999): Mostly forgettable and indistinguishable from other playboy white collar criminal caper carryingons.
