Big GameBig Game (2014)
3 stars (Good Enough) Once I realised the director was also the one responsible for "Rare Exports – a Christmas Tale" this unbelievable screenplay started to make "sense". Enjoy.
DVD $24.95 | Blu-Ray $29.95
Bad Neighbours 2Bad Neighbours 2 (Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising) (2016)
1 star (Turkey) I'm tempted to say that it is a good example of the standard of comedy written today.
Money MonsterMoney Monster (2016)
2 stars (Good Try) It all got a bit silly and a shame that an acting talent like Dominic West was wasted.
Gorgon, TheGorgon, The (1964)
2 stars (Good Try) A bit stodgy in its telling but there is always interest in the basic premise and in the master horror actors Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.
DVD $15 $11.25
Carer, TheCarer, The (2016)
2 stars (Good Try) The dramatic foul language grates after a short while but other than that its well done.
Witch, TheWitch, The (2015)Aro Favourite
3 stars (Good Enough) Its more suspense than horror and its low key, its used sparingly and therefore is more effective.
View from the TopView from the Top (2003)
2 stars (Good Try) Pleasant enough but the only real stand out are the Mike Myers segments.
Battle of the BulgeBattle of the Bulge (1965)
2 stars (Good Try) The best thing about it is that it gives equal screen time to both sides so its not really a propaganda exercise but it does cause its length to blow out.
REDRED (R.E.D.) (2010)Recommended
2 stars (Good Try) I bet the cast enjoyed making it – it had that "end of the working year" feel to it when your are winding down – even the violence although enacted with gusto seemed slightly apologetic. For those who watch it though its no more than light entertainment
RedbeltRedbelt (2008)
2 stars (Good Try) Not sure it knew which type of film it wanted to be – a mixture of a cast from those who have proven acting talent to those who are the real thing in martial arts – screenplay is not original but its intentions to portray MMA in a good light are sincere.
