Christine (1983)
You really do cheer for the car – anything to get rid of some of these characters.
Flightplan (2005)
The screenplay gets sillier and sillier as it progresses and Jodie's over intense performance doesn't help.
Keeping the Faith (2000)
The premise is fragile from the start and breaks long before the end which is too long in coming. Stiller and Norton don't have the ability to carry it through. Wallach and Bancroft are a welcome relief in their small parts.
Incendies (2010)
A challenging multi layered screenplay with a terrific performance from Lubna Azabal. It portrays the lack of tolerance & hate that accompanies many religions & highlights the vulnerability of the women & children.
Robocop 3 (1993)
There is a light touch running through most of its length which helps. John Castle the fine British actor (mainly TV in recent years) adds quality.
Project X (2012)
Puerile.
Dinner for Schmucks (2010)
If you are a Carell fan it will enhance your chances of enjoying this mild comedy tenfold.
German Doctor, The (2013)
Aka "Wakolda". Although its not always possible to determine the truth from events that are dramatised – this is an interesting and well produced story – the acting is very good and the locale beautiful.
Tango and Cash (1989)
Nifty title but not much else. Yelling and shouting replaces dramatic acting.
Goods, The: Live Hard Sell Hard (2009)
Its not a bad plot scenario with the odd not so grubby script line but at the end of the day its hard to make car sales people funny – as an animal they just haven't earned any sympathy.
