The premise is fragile from the start and breaks long before the end which is too long in coming. Stiller and Norton don't have the ability to carry it through. Wallach and Bancroft are a welcome relief in their small parts.
A challenging multi layered screenplay with a terrific performance from Lubna Azabal. It portrays the lack of tolerance & hate that accompanies many religions & highlights the vulnerability of the women & children.
Aka "Wakolda". Although its not always possible to determine the truth from events that are dramatised – this is an interesting and well produced story – the acting is very good and the locale beautiful.
Its not a bad plot scenario with the odd not so grubby script line but at the end of the day its hard to make car sales people funny – as an animal they just haven't earned any sympathy.
