The formula for this kind of Underbelly drama is now well established. A narration which is light hearted at times makes the characters more acceptable as part of every day life. The action is often captured by some annoying slow motion camera work.
It probably has good intentions as a warning against the internet playing too large a role in our lives but it is hardly riveting viewing. There is some acting talent here and there in the adult cast.
The cat handler does well – Hayley lifts it a notch and Neville Brand is one of the better bad character actors but it loses its impetus because of length.
A throw back to the days when every second film was a court room drama. It is not too long and watchable but the suspense doesn't rise to any great heights.
There are some good moments but the screenplay is too elongated for its own good. It takes too long to assemble all the criminals and then dispose of them – "Ocean's Six" would have worked better.
