Collateral Beauty (2016)
I couldn't be bothered watching Smith and Norton but the female cast members are hard to resist.
To Die For (1996)
As a black comedy it doesn't quite work but watching younger versions of Joaquin Phoenix, Allison Folland and Casey Affleck adds some interest.
Elvis Has Left the Building (2004)
There are some good segments and its worth it overall. Mike Starr as usual does some scene stealing.
Thirteen Ghosts (2001)
Personal Shopper (2016)
The promotion pre–warns you that it is a ghost story so that takes a lot of the suspense out of what follows which for the most part is watching text messages. Kristen is fine however.
Panic in Needle Park, The (1971)
It is all the better for its low key approach. There is some good street location shooting but the standout is the performance of Kitty Winn whose character you can witness deteriorating throughout the film.
Alice in Wonderland (1951)
The timeless tale with its timeless characters is well animated for all ages.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016)
The special effects are impressive.
Final Cut, The (2004)
It is a very good plot idea but it is not played out to the best advantage.
Love at First Fight (Les Combattants) (2014)
The two combatants who are opposites at the start are slowly drawn together as a result of their experiences. This dreadfully corny scenario for once is expertly done thanks in no small part to a well written screenplay and the required performances.
