Star Trek (Star Trek XI (Reboot)) (2009): There is only one Spock – I struggled looking at Quinto for two hours.
Street Kings (2008): There is violence but nothing of any value.
Good Luck Chuck (2007): Jessica tries hard and makes some of it watchable.
America's Sweethearts (2001): The very good casting deserved a better screenplay.
Personal Effects (2009): Michelle has to carry Ashton Kutcher and unfortunately Kathy Bates only has a small part so the drama struggles a bit.
Doctor Detroit (1983): Patchy but not boring – Aykroyd makes it watchable.
Ugly Duckling and Me, The (2006): Although a bit screechy the characters are a delight.
Only (2008): The male kid tests one's tolerance but the screenplay is not too long and the shooting locations and soundtrack are fine.
Kingpin (1996): There are some good bits and some bits that don't work so well – a bit disjointed overall. A good soundtrack.
Avanti (1972): Thanks to a good supporting cast there are some good bits but you need to wait for them to come along as the screenplay drags on for more than two hours. The highlight is the shooting locations.
