Rio (2011): The birds are a colourful delight.
Dangerous Liaisons (2012): The cinematography might blind you to the thin screenplay and even thinner characters.
No Man of God (2021): Although the screenplay largely relies on two characters talking to each other it should have been more interesting than it was considering one of them was a serial killer.; DVD $29.95
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021): Hardy, Willams, and Graham you would normally spend money to see in anything – but not this.
Paddington (2014): Extremely well made with a top cast in support.; DVD $19.95
Prime Mover (2009): The screenplay offers no surprises but is watchable.
Lola (1960): A never sit still title character is only really challenged by the interchange between the mother (Elina Labourdette) and her grown up 14 year old daughter.
June Again (2020): The plot idea is fresh and a feisty mum keeps things interesting.
Paris (2008): A good case of overkill in relation to casting and running time especially when you see little of Paris.
Hail Caesar! (2016): Although it is handled lightly I don't think it works as well as it could have as a comedy. Never boring though and the sailor's dance scene was excellent.
