Coogan's Bluff (1968)
It is never boring but the Eastwood character hasn't dated too well 50 years on. There are some good street location shots however which the more they date the better they will be.
Halloween 2 (Halloween II) (1981)
Jamie Lee and Donald Pleasence do their best but the screenplay is pretty flat.
By Any Means (TV Series) (2008)
Charley is an entertaining host – the series is an easy watch.
3 1/2 Minutes, 10 Bullets (2015)
A blow by blow – a bit dry at times – documentary, but worth it.
Last Sunset, The (1961)
The Hudson and Douglas characters are a couple of drips. Dorothy Malone and Carol Lynley would have been better in their roles.
Baywatch (2017)
Although a bit of slow motion camera work helps they really do well to stretch this out to two hours.
Desperate Measures (1997)
The screenplay is pretty weak.
Air Force One (1997)
The screenplay is so bad that it plays like a spoof – Ford is so poor that he is entertaining. As usual Oldman is very good but needless to say he looks out of place.
A Dog's Purpose (2017)
Another family dog film.
Bright Lights, Big City (1988)
There are some attractively shot early morning getting home from the party scenes plus some worthwhile office scenes involving a hungover Fox and Frances Sternhagen his manager – the rest is watchable but doesn't reach the same heights.
