Goon: Last of the Enforcers (2017): I can't remember what this was about but it was forgettable anyway so it doesn't matter.
Gremlins (1984): Great work by the creature people.
Before I Fall (2017): The screenplay was watchable but it did go round in circles a bit.
When Harry Met Sally (1990): Mainly about two people talking drivel.
Escape from New York (1981): Without meaning to be derogatory this is a classy B cast. The great set designs and lack of lighting add to the depressive atmosphere of the screenplay. You get the feeling that this film will hang around for quite a while yet.
Push (2009): All the characters have a special gift even if some of the gifts are a bit on the corny side. The action segments gradually over power the sci–fi. ideas. There are some good shots of Hong Kong streets.; DVD $14.95
Birdsong (TV Mini-Series) (2012): The production values are consistently high throughout. The performances are very good but the highlight is the suspenseful tunneling scenes. The ending is a bit melodramatic though.
Adventures of Prince Achmed, The (1926): The animation technique deserves every praise. Watching this film is a relaxing experience.
Rolling Stones Live: Compulsory four stars.
Perfect Stranger (2007): The screenplay is not convincing. Halle is fine but Willis is miscast and looks uncomfortable.
