Mon Oncle (1958): It is not only a great satire its visual comedy can be rated up there with Keaton.
Wonder Woman (2017): It is certainly as good as most super hero films. The best bits involve David Thewlis.
I Am Number Four (2011): It looked promising and that is far as it got.
Men Who Stare at Goats, The (2009): A very good satire of the military although the screenplay does weaken out in the latter stages.
Absence of Malice (1975): A very well written screenplay is backed up by the performances.
Oliver's Story (1978): Although nothing happens it is good to see Candice and Nicola.
Free Man, The (2016): Although there is some nice location shooting the documentary is not that interesting.
American Buffalo (1996): It hasn't escaped its origin as a stage play .
Pecking Order (2017): It is hard to dislike. We can all relate to embarrassing moments at Club meetings.
New York Stories (1989): It is not a bad format – the three stories are different and because of their length do not overstay their welcome. With the help of a sprinkling of interesting actors like Buscemi, Douglas and Nolte the total package is watchable.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
