Saw (2004): The filmmakers wanted to make a low budget film and in this, they succeeded but the screenplay fails to hold the attention.
My One and Only (2009): The period details are spot on. The screenplay is helped when Nick Stahl enters the fray.
Things to Come (1936): The set builders and model makers do a great job. Ralph Richardson enjoys himself and there is some interesting pontification from Raymond Massey. The basic plot idea still has relevance today.
Hard Sun (TV Series) (2018): Not too bad – it starts off well but weakens a bit afterward –still well worth the watch though.
Last Castle, The (2001): The screenplay showed early promise but it goes off the rails and just gets silly.
Dark Tower, The (2017): It doesn't rise to any great heights.
Answer Man, The (2009): Has a reasonable promising start but loses its way.
Wayne's World 2 (1993): As a duo they are not too bad.
It Comes at Night (2017): It showed early promise.
Ruben Guthrie (2015): It is hard to empathise with these characters.; Blu-Ray $29.95
