Matrix, The (1999): Too many noisy action sequences detract from the sci–fi. The terrific casting of Hugo Weaving helps as do the special effects.
Siege of the Saxons (1963): Entertaining. Loved the modern hairdos of the lead characters.
Deal, The (2008): The two leads are fine but the material is not the strongest and certainly not for 100 minutes.
6 Days (Six Days) (2017): Although it is another hostage film there is a good cast to help things along.
Ghost in the Shell (2017): The highlight was the special effects.
Julius Caesar (1953): Brando overdoes it a bit but there are others in this classy cast headed by James Mason to fall back on. A good telling of the tale.
February (The Blackcoat's Daughter) (2015): Much of it has been done before but it does create an atmosphere helped by the lack of lighting.
Ever After (1998): Although there is a strong supporting cast headed by Anjelica Huston it is Drew that makes this so so screenplay watchable.
Girl Next Door, The (2003): The material is light.
At Close Range (1985): Walken is a level above everyone else and provides the watchability factor.; Blu-Ray $34.95
