City of Industry (1996)
Some gritty action led by Mr. Gritty himself. There is also some good gritty location shooting.
Castle Keep (1969)
An interesting plot, but although I haven't read the book, you get the impression the screenplay doesn't do it justice.
Atomic Blonde (2017)
Charlize was fine.- DVD $14.95
Trip to Spain, The (2017)
Feature Film – It needed more shots of the beautiful locations instead of the chatter.- DVD $29.95, $29.95
Big Sick, The (2017)
It is bittersweet but also very uneven. The best parts involve Holly Hunter. Go, Holly!
Wakefield (2016)
The narration grates after a while and the screenplay is a bit overlong for the material but Cranston is fine.
Osterman Weekend, The (1983)
An intriguing cast makes it worthwhile even though the screenplay is a bit muddled.
Kill the Messenger (2014)
Renner, as usual, I found irritating. It is a bit long but the screenplay has a worthy subject behind the histrionics.
Burning Plain, The (2008)
Found the screenplay to be a bit over complicated but it was worth the watch because of the female casting.
Single White Female (1992)
For the most part, the screenplay is very good but it weakens a bit in the latter stages. Great to see Bridget and Jennifer working together.
