An Unexpected Love (El amor menos pensado) (2019): Despite the attractive leads, even for romantics, this might seem to go on forever.; DVD $29.95
An Autumn Tale (1998): Not unusually the highlight is the photography.
Claire's Knee (1970): It would have been great to have seen this beautifully shot location without the characters (except Claire's knee) and the motorboat.
Regarding Henry (1991): Another melodrama about a medical condition but at least this one has Annette Bening.
Bye Bye Morons (2020): It does its best work in its early scenes but although the screenplay does weaken, it is never boring and is served well by the three leads.
Green Ray, The (Summer) (1986): There is a generous amount of location shooting to provide some interest for the viewer.
Love in the Afternoon (L'Amour l'après-midi) (1972): The highlight is the beautiful easy on the eye soft coloured photography.
The Marquise of O (Die Marquise von O) (1976): A gentle comedy, a bit dragged out, but easy on the eye and worth a try.
Very Thought of You, The (Martha, Meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence) (1998): It had early promise with Hollander and Sewell in good form but it then went down the rom/com trail.
A Summer's Tale (1996): The script is not great but at least it fits the characters.
