Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix (2007)
Has noisy sound effects that help the excitement – there is rarely a break in the action.
Battle of the Sexes, The (2017)
It will have some interest if you don't already know the story and the outcome.
Irma La Douce (1963)
Very long but there are segments of good light comedy. The re–creation of the Parisian market, in particular, is well done.
Vampire Diaries, The (TV Series) (2009)
Series 1: More of a soap rather than a horror. Photogenic vampires don't work for me.
Firm, The (1993)
It is way too long even with the quality support casting on show. However, Cruise plays a part that requires him to do some acting for a change so it does contain some light entertainment.
True Confessions (1981)
It works best on Duvall's side of the screenplay (with support from the likes of veteran Kenneth McMillan), particularly when investigating the crime. The rest is rather flat.
Gandhi (1982)
I'm not a fan of a dramatisation of real–life events in lieu of a documentary but this one is sincere and respectful in its telling. The production values are top notch and the cast oozes talent even in the smaller supporting roles.
Rocky V (Rocky 5) (1990)
The great thing about this is that it is the last in the series.
Year of the Dragon (1985)
A smirking Rourke doesn't help but although the screenplay is overlong it is still for the most part watchable 30 years on.
Rookie, The (1990)
Watchable but mainly follows formula.
