Lady Macbeth (2016): It failed to hold the attention.
Colossal (2017): A fresh screenplay! Hathaway and Sudeikis are very good but the human supporting cast is ordinary.
Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016): There are ouija films and there are ouija films – this is another ouija film.
Bob Dylan - Unplugged (1994): Although his backing musicians were very good it is a bit frustrating when he doesn't perform solo.
Caesar and Cleopatra (1945): Claude Rains delivers Shaw's wit perfectly. Its a refreshing screenplay about the period without the usual bloodletting.
Valley Girl (1983): Dated 35 years on – Cage's make–up must have cost a fortune.
Cool Runnings (1994): One of the more entertaining sports moviesrn
Beyond the Edge (2013): This dramatised documentary attempts to breathe life into this well–known story.
Jungle (2017): Another drama about people having no respect for nature. I didn't particularly care for the characters and ended up cheering for the other side.
Comes A Horseman (1978): Jane is fine and so is the scenery which moves at the same pace as the screenplay.
