Jaquie Brown Diaries, The (TV Series) (The Jacquie Brown Odyssey) (2008): Although the material is not the strongest and unnecessarily risque at times there is energy in the lead performance. I'm not sure it will export too well out of Australasia.
Grand, The (2007): Not too bad – an interesting try.
Cherry Falls (2000): Better than average for its type.
Becoming Bond (2017): It is light entertainment but it takes too long to get to 007 when his story has more interest and becomes worthy of a documentary.
Midnight (1939): Although there is a very good female cast the best bits involve Barrymore (as usual).
Princess Comes Across, The (1936): The screenplay is not too bad. Carole Lombard is always worth the time.
River Runs Through It, A (1992): Although the screenplay drags a bit this is forgiven during the beautifully shot river scenes.
Bewitched (2005): Nicole has the right nose for it but the screenplay doesn't quite work as well as it should.
Paris Can Wait (Bonjour Anne) (2016): Light material but Diane is fine.
McLaren (2017): The documentary didn't raise any interest in me in the subject matter.
