Agent Cody Banks (2003): The male kid gets a bit irritating but the plot idea is reasonable family entertainment.
Sidewalks of New York (2001): Another talkie based in New York but there is the attraction of Tucci, Dawson, and Murphy.
Author: The JT LeRoy Story (2016): It has a bit more to it than the single joke scenario but this goes on too long and loses its impact.
Blow Out (1981): It has timeless curiosity value and deserves to be seen but I believe they should have done better than Travolta in the lead.
Downriver (2015): There is a lot of yelling and screaming and the holding of hands and other dramatics plus plenty of darkness.
Happy Death Day (2017): If you don't mind going round and round with a well–worn plot idea it is an entertaining watch.
Aces High (1976): Impressive production values particularly in the aerial re–enactments.
Polish Wedding (1998): It never really recovers from Gabriel Byrne's Polish accent.
This Island Earth (1954): There is a freshness to the screenplay and it doesn't follow formula. Some interesting special effects help.
Vampire Circus (1972): A worthy addition to the Hammer House – well produced with a good screenplay.
