Wanted (2008)
I soon became non–plussed by the special visual and sound effects, and flashy editing. Violent but with a soft edge.
Concrete Romance (Cemento armato) (2007)
A screenplay that seems to feel the need to be extra violent to make up for its routineness.
Kiss of the Dragon (2000)
The martial arts should please fans but some of the violence is a bit distasteful.
Chicken Run (2000)
A simple if a not original story is enhanced by some delightful chicken characters. The animators are able to achieve some wonderful facial expressions, particularly through the character's eyes.
Finding Nemo (2003)
The action is non stop and the characters are appealing. It may even be educational.
Open Season (2006)
There are better animal animated films but this one is entertaining and worth it.
E.T. (E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial) (1982)
The screeching of the male kid is hard work but Drew and E.T. are terrific.
Hating Alison Ashley (2005)
Saskia Burmeister is terrific full stop. The characters are portrayed with just the right amount of exaggeration.
TT Closer to the Edge (TT3D Closer to the Edge) (2011)
It is "extremely exciting".
Bridget Jones's Diary (2001)
The screenplay is well written. Probably Renee's best performance and it gels well with that of the other two lead characters. The superb support cast is the icing on the cake.
