Stella Does Tricks (1998): Kelly MacDonald is great. The drama, about vulnerable young women, a pimp and a pedophile is at its strongest when the equally impressive James Bolam is there to offer her a hand or whatever else he deems appropriate.
Roadhouse (1989): The fight choreography is a bit of a laugh at times coupled with plenty of male posturing but there is a good soundtrack.
Adventures of Robin Hood, The (1938): Its appeal should last a few more generations yet.
Woodstock (1970): 40th Anniversary Edition – Director's Cut. It includes important documentary footage for historians to use.
Twilight: New Moon (2009): The overlong screenplay drags and Kristen's performance is the only thing worth watching.
Rat Race (2002): It tries hard but it is only a pale imitation of the 1963 Stanley Kramer film. However, if you haven't seen the Kramer you will enjoy this more.
Home Again (2017): It is a good job Reese is in it.
Union City (1980): Dennis Lipscomb's performance holds the attention in this no–frills produced film.
Justice League (2017): The acting talents of Irons, Adams etc. are not used so I'm not sure why they were cast. Some good special effects but these comic book films have passed the saturation point.
Beat the Devil (1953): An entertaining screenplay is helped along by a strong cast. Robert Morley and Peter Lorre are worth the price of admission alone.
