Letters to Juliet (2010): Well made froth. Egan has trouble with the acting part of his performance.
Long Riders, The (1980): It is well made but violent and gimmicky but there are a couple of good performances from Carradine D and Quaid R.
Desperately Seeking Susan (1985): It doesn't take off.
Connie and Carla (2004): There are some very good bits but it gets sidetracked and emotional. David Duchovny miscast.
Black Mass (2015): I didn't care that he murdered half of Boston but as soon as he laid a finger on Juno that was it for me.
Golden Compass, The (2007): A great cast complements a solid family fantasy.
Devil's Candy, The (2016): It is okay – shooting mainly in the dark and casting Pruitt Taylor Vince helps.
Emoji Movie, The (2017): I'm an old dinosaur – what emoji do I use to indicate two stars? ??
All the Money in the World (2017): Its a good story but it shouldn't have needed over two hours to tell.
Disaster Artist, The (2017): I haven't seen "The Room" so as a stand–alone this was a bit meaningless and silly.
