Package, The (1989): Even with Hackman on board it is more ordinary than special and has not dated well 30 years on.
Mama's Boy (2007): I know Heder's character is meant to be irritating but surely not that irritating.
Sleepy Hollow (1999): The artists and set designers do well with the Gothic requirements. Overall it is an enjoyable romp with plenty of acting talent on display.
Story of Us, The (1999): There is hardly a plot and the only interesting thing is to watch a miscast and out of place Bruce Willis.
El Monstro Del Mar! (2010): It doesn't really succeed as a homage to the exploitation flicks of yesteryear.
Bedazzled (2000): It is a good comedy plot scenario but the casting of Fraser could have been improved upon.
Alone in Berlin (2017): The period work by the filmmakers is worth the price of admission. The vulnerability of the two main characters comes through in the fine performances of the leads.; DVD $34.95
Army of One (2016): I had to turn the volume down because the raving of the main character just got on my nerves.
Black Harvest (1992): No matter where your sympathies lie between the parties featured in this story – the documentary has anthropological historical value.
Diggers (2006): A very good script with characters to match. Whilst the males take most of the screen time there are some not to be ignored performances from the ladies headed by Maura Tierney.
