Snatched (2017): This kind of thing has been done before but this is not an improvement on what has gone before.
Ice Station Zebra (1968): Patrick McGoohan adds interest to the cast but you need patience waiting for the exciting bits in the screenplay. It would be quicker to read the book which would then defeat the whole purpose of the exercise.
Sweet Country (2017): Its best is after the fugitive on the run bit is over. The subsequent court scene is extremely well handled – its script, performances, and props. Needless to say, the location shooting is beautiful.
Ain't Them Bodies Saints (2013): Made no impression on a second viewing after making no impression on a first viewing.
Action Jackson (1988): It is an action film.
Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars (2017): I didn't realise he'd gone off his trolley so badly.; DVD $29.95
Ender's Game (2013): The male kid is annoying but the special effects are okay and it may appeal more to young adults.
Switchblade Sisters (1975): Some very good female posturing makes a refreshing change.
Kingdom of Heaven (2005): There is a very good supporting cast as are the other trappings.
What Happened To Monday (Seven Sisters) (2017): It doesn't take too long before it turns into a mini shootathon wasting a promising plot idea. A special mention for the clothing and wig people having to change Noomi several times and often quickly within a single scene.; DVD $29.95
