Space (TV Series) (2000): Well explained with some common sense special effects.
Mrs. Brown (Her Majesty Mrs. Brown) (1997): An interesting story and lead casting with Geoffrey Palmer doing a sterling job in support.
Dirty Pretty Things (2002): It is well written with a strong political message.
Forty Shades of Blue (2004): The characters need our patience, but they deserve each other. A very good soundtrack.
Old Man and the Sea, The (1958): You end up cheering for the fish.
Tokyo Tribe (2014): Although it doesn't better its early "Blade Runner" street scene, it is never boring.
Where Angels Fear to Tread (1991): Giovanni Guidelli doesn't quite fit, but otherwise Judy Davis stands out in a strong cast. Well produced.
Peter and Paul (1981): Another biblical slog, but there is some interest in searching for the interesting male cast behind the growth.
400 Blows, The (1959): The screenplay is believable and without melodrama. The first half in particular has plenty of 50's Paris streets location shooting, which I would never complain about.
Bigger than the Sky (2005): Not great, but it has some better moments if you have the patience.
