Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2) (2016)
Lady Bird (Ladybird) (2017): It is heavy and reliant on dialogue.
Panic Room (2002): For the most part, it is suspenseful but the screenplay weakens toward the end.

Midnight Clear, A (1992): It plays like a play. There is too much yelling and shouting instead of acting.
Deathstalker: Last Great Warrior King (1983): Plenty of violence, cheap makeup and male posturing without clothes to save on wardrobe.
Meadowland (2015): Not an easy watch but the screenplay is sincere and Olivia succeeds in a demanding role.
Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain, The (1995): Although it finishes well it weakens out in the second half and probably goes on for a tad too long. The plot idea is very good and there are some quality character actors in Kenneth Griffith, Ian McNeice et al.
Fourth Protocol, The (1987): A competent screenplay is supplemented by a well–rounded cast that has class actors such as Ian Richardson and Ray McAnally in supporting roles.
