Lawman (1970): The screenplay is intelligent and worthy of the excellent casting not only in the leads but in the character actors J.D. Cannon, Sheree North, Lee J Cobb etc. etc.
Trick of the Light, A (Brothers Skladanowsky) (1995): Terrific production values. The whole project gives the appearance of a labour of love with no axes to grind.
Hey Arnold! - The Movie (2002): It is for kids.
Promise, The (2016): The Armenians deserve that their story is told properly and not through a dramatisation.
Vampire's Kiss (1988): The lead performance is too great for the material on offer and puts into the shadows those that are privileged to share the same stage.
Wonder Wheel (2017): The dramatic acting soon wears you out but there are some good set designs.
Tomb Raider (2018): Starts promisingly with a fresh face and a cycle chase but then follows formula when damaging ancient artifacts with machine gun fire, destroying tombs etc.
Overboard (1987): It is too long for the material but the house cleaning scene with Goldie is worth a watch.
Hot Enough For June (1964): Not a particularly strong screenplay but the quality character casting gets it through.
Cheaper by the Dozen (2003): The only worthy comedic element is the connection of the family name Baker with a dozen (an apology to mathematicians). The screenplay is predictable and the ending crap.
