Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa (2013): Although Coogan's character is different he is not able to hold one's attention for over an hour (as per Mike Myers) without being irritating.
Lovesick (1983): It doesn't fire at all even with a strong supporting cast.
Crumb (1994): 119 minutes is a long time to spend in the company of Crumb and his arrogant mates. What a waste of a talent.
A Warning to the Curious (1972): Compact screenplay with good production values and the expected talented casting.
Stalls of Barchester, The (1971): Compact screenplay with good production values and the expected talented casting.
Carrie Pilby (2016): I couldn't follow the screenplay if there was one.
Walkabout (1970): Not without fault, and a bit hard to categorise, it is however memorable. The locations and the photography (from vistas to the Outback's smaller creatures going about their daily business) are stunning.
Force Majeure (Turist) (2014): It starts well courtesy of an avalanche but the same then bogs down the screenplay to such an extent you are wishing for a second one to finish things off.
Medusa Touch, The (1978): An interesting premise with an above average cast should have delivered better than it did.; Blu-Ray $34.95
I See a Dark Stranger (The Adventuress) (1946): Deborah Kerr is terrific and the screenplay doesn't overdo the serious bits as there is a laugh just around the corner.
