Most of the screenplay is uninteresting and claustrophobic until the main protagonist visits LA where although there are some "on the road" segments it is only LA and not some interesting European city. The soundtrack is good.
The body count was 9,263 but all died entertainingly in dance mode. I gave up trying to work out the characters but rewarding was the camera work & the lighting of the night scenes when ninjas were scurrying down alleyways & over rooftops up to no good.
As a heist film, it was entertaining but it was yet another heist film. The makeup team had a field day but it didn't help the girls who had to carry around several unnecessary layers.
Some of the early scenes had special effects and set designs that were excellent and the body count was reasonable but 2 and a quarter hours is a long time to rein in an action film. Andy Serkis added life to the performances.
