Murundak - Songs of Freedom (2010): There is a good balance between musical performances and library news footage.
Dead Man Walking (1996): An over the top Penn ruined this film.
Bostonians, The (1984): Well produced as you would expect but the screenplay is a bit stodgy. However on the plus side is the quality casting of Redgrave, Shawn, Hunt, and Tandy.
Thelma (2017): There is an interesting mix of ingredients in the screenplay which although steadily paced for the most part seems to slow unnecessarily in its final stages.
Isolation (2005): Thanks to an intelligent idea and screenplay it is an above average horror.
Lion in Winter, The (TV Mini-series) (2003): Two bits of a family whose members are at loggerheads with each other and themselves. Excellent performances.
Man Who Cried, The (2001): A well produced and interesting screenplay. There is an excellent cast from which the irrepressible John Turturro manages to stick his head above the parapet.
Uncharted (2022): I didn't find a great deal to maintain the interest, particularly over two hours.
Cleaner (2007): It hardly leaves a mark.
Carnage (2011): It is a talkie but a well done talkie.
