Jazz On a Summer's Day (1959): A timeless time capsule if there can be such a thing.
Predator 2 (1990): For its type, it is not too bad.
Rush Hour 3 (2007): The one noticeable difference to the original 9 years earlier was that Chris Tucker had put on weight.
Rush Hour (1998): If you can put up with more than two minutes of the Mouth there are some good moments.
Arabian Nights (2015): Vols 1 and 2: Are a smorgasbord of stories of varying interest. Vol 3: Of the three collections, this is the easiest to watch and it has one memorable scene. Throughout the soundtrack is also worthy of mention.
Mean Girls (2004): There are a million films like this one but this is a rarity – it works.
Wicker Park (2004): The characters don't amount to much – you really don't care about what happens to them.
Beaches of Agnes, The (2008): She seems incapable of taking a normal approach to things. She is very creative with a delightful touch of humour always to hand.
Hitcher, The (2007): A poor imitation in every way of the original.
First Reformed (2017): It is wonderfully gloomy and when it is not it is austere. The cold weather also does its bit.
