The two contrasting characters are well cast. The screenplay, for the most part, is well written but before the end, it loses its snappiness and should have found an ending earlier.
A very good and uncomplicated screenplay is supplemented by timely interventions from its musical score. The three characters are far from uncomplicated however and require top performances – mission accomplished on that score.
It is an interesting if at times a bit clunky screenplay. It could interest budding shoplifters but it is also a fair attempt to depict the struggle of the early days of working in a foreign country.
