Yet another drama based on police and political corruption in Brazil. Because of its familiarity, there are no surprises and the screenplay comes across as simplistic.
There are three fine performances but unless you are a romantic the screenplay starts to drag when things become predictable. The ending has been done before.
Aka "The Battle of the Suits". The characters operate within a hierarchy of violence. The ones at the top of the pile are the ones with the most fingers. The best way to approach this bloodbath is first to guess the body count & then view it as a comedy
In my book, Leslie Nielsen is one of the most consistent comedy actors. You would think that the material for this series had been written with him in mind. This sequel is entertainingly silly and it works.
