Easy Rider (1969): Fifty years on and some of the scenes don't work quite so well but importantly there are some that still do and make this worthwhile re/watching. Definitely a cult classic with a great soundtrack.
My Mother (Mia Madre) (2015): The emotional screenplay is handled very well by some good performances of which Margherita Buy's is a standout.
Walk the Line (2005): Two very fine performances do justice to the roller–coaster relationship. The production values are excellent and the musical numbers are handled professionally.
I'm Reed Fish (2006): Light viewing that will probably test the memory bank.
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003): The "old school" animation style gets the job done and the story moves at a brisk pace.
Shrek Forever After (Shrek 4) (2010): A worthwhile contribution to the series.
Eragon (2006): Ed Speleers struggles a bit in the lead role but the dragon is not too bad. There is a strong supporting cast which helps.
Locke (2013): The script is well written and the film well edited as it is able to hold interest over its distance.
Nun, The (2018): As with a number of modern horrors it relies quite a bit on loud sound effects – there is little suspense built up.
Bad Times at the El Royale (2018): Some of the segments are interesting but overall this is a bit of a slog.
