Easy RiderEasy Rider (1969)Aro Favourite
3 stars (Good Enough) Fifty years on and some of the scenes don't work quite so well but importantly there are some that still do and make this worthwhile re/watching. Definitely a cult classic with a great soundtrack.

My MotherMy Mother (Mia Madre) (2015)
3 stars (Good Enough) The emotional screenplay is handled very well by some good performances of which Margherita Buy's is a standout.
Walk the LineWalk the Line (2005)Recommended
4 stars (Very Good) Two very fine performances do justice to the roller–coaster relationship. The production values are excellent and the musical numbers are handled professionally.
I'm Reed FishI'm Reed Fish (2006)
2 stars (Good Try) Light viewing that will probably test the memory bank.
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven SeasSinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003)Recommended
3 stars (Good Enough) The "old school" animation style gets the job done and the story moves at a brisk pace.
Shrek Forever AfterShrek Forever After (Shrek 4) (2010)
3 stars (Good Enough) A worthwhile contribution to the series.
EragonEragon (2006)Recommended
2 stars (Good Try) Ed Speleers struggles a bit in the lead role but the dragon is not too bad. There is a strong supporting cast which helps.
LockeLocke (2013)Aro Favourite
3 stars (Good Enough) The script is well written and the film well edited as it is able to hold interest over its distance.
Nun, TheNun, The (2018)
2 stars (Good Try) As with a number of modern horrors it relies quite a bit on loud sound effects – there is little suspense built up.
Bad Times at the El RoyaleBad Times at the El Royale (2018)Recommended
2 stars (Good Try) Some of the segments are interesting but overall this is a bit of a slog.
