Tortilla Soup (2001): It is pleasant fare and because of the casting of Elizabeth Peña it is worthwhile.
Geronimo (1994): Another screen appearance for Geronimo.
Southerner, The (1945): The screenplay is competent but predictable. The highlight is the easy on the eye black and white photography.
Aristocats, The (1970): A great title and great entertainment.
Pogues, The - Live Town And Country Club (1988): An up and at 'em performance particularly from lead Shane MacGowan.
Dheepan (2016): It is about believable people in believable situations and it is portrayed in a believable way.
My Man Godfrey (1935): The dialogue is extremely well written. Although Powell and Lombard are in top form you can't ignore the quality performances of Alice Brady and Eugene Palette and indeed the rest of the household.
Short Film About Killing, A (1988): It depicts violence and its consequences artistically.
Instant Family (2018): The shrieks, screams, and hysterics are a bit overdone but the excellent adult casting more than compensates.
Hostiles (2017): The production values and the locations are excellent but the screenplay is a bit too familiar.
