Once Upon a Forest (1993)
The characters are a delight.
Roman Holiday (1953)
It is a silly fairy tale plot but a classic romantic one. Audrey shines in beautiful black and white. The romantic shooting locations help.
Glass (2018)
I wasn't over–excited by the first two of the trilogy and this one, being a reflection of what had gone before, didn't do anything to shatter that view.
Get On the Bus (1996)
It is very heavy on dialogue some of which can be criticised for being preachy.
Equalizer 2, The (2018)
Denzel has done so many of these that he can perform them with his eyes closed. Likewise, I've seen so many of these I can watch them with my eyes closed.
Blood Diamond (2006)
The message shouldn't have needed two hours to get across. The violence is well done but becomes repetitive. One shot of children with weapons would have been enough to understand that anarchy reigned & we, therefore, could have been spared the bloodshed
Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)
It took a few scenes to get used to Clooney's voice and it was a distraction to the storytelling but the animation throughout was excellent.- DVD

Twin Falls Idaho (1999)
The screenplay is uneven but without wanting to sound crass it is unusual & importantly keeps the melodrama to a minimum. There are some fine humorous touches that help alleviate the depressing soundtrack although the end credits are worth listening to.
Arlington Road (1999)
Jeff Bridges is a fine actor but not in this one – his performance is one overreaction. The musical score is also intrusive at times. However, there is a saving grace in the screenplay and this deserves to be seen.
Wild Hogs (2007)
The talents of Macy, Liotta, and Tomei give it some appeal but except for the odd segment, it doesn't work overall. The soundtrack, however, is pretty good.
