My Name is Gulpilil (2021): Refreshingly honest self criticism.; DVD $29.95
Lady and the Tramp (1955): It is Classic Disney and deserves to be seen at least once.; Blu-Ray $29.95
Thieves Like Us (1973): Although the scenes between Carradine and Duvall tended to take the impetus out of the screenplay the film was very well written, shot, and cast. Louise Fletcher was terrific without seeming to make any effort.
Rio 2 (2014): Beautiful rich colours clothe the delightful chirpy bird characters.
Cat Ballou (1965): Although Marvin's character makes an inauspicious entry it is a memorable one and sets the tone for the rest of the proceedings.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood) (2019): It is entertaining in parts and the screenplay's format enables you to dip in and out of it at any stage without losing the thread of proceedings.
Boys from Brazil, The (1978): Peck is like a concrete post with makeup. Olivier's accent is awful but James Mason having played Rommel a couple of times is okay. An interesting screenplay but it doesn't really fire.
Teddy Bear (10 Timer til Paradis) (2012): The screenplay is okay but unadventurous and lacks any surprises.
Le Bonheur (Happiness) (1964): I can't say that I've seen a screenplay quite like it – with such a depth of innocence on the surface.
Trial of Joan of Arc, The (Procès de Jeanne d'Arc) (1962): Compact and competent.
