Swallows and Amazons (2016): Well produced with the shooting locations a real plus.
Interlude in Prague (2017): The screenplay kept getting diverted and not going anywhere at times but the set designs and wardrobe were fine and there was always the music.
Crime Spree (2003): It has some nice humorous touches and good location shooting.
Human Traces (2017): What it does do well is to create a threatening atmosphere – on a remote island there is no way to escape.
Three Colours: Red (1994): Two great performances and an excellent screenplay.
Next of Kin (1982): Competent horror with the screenplay working most of the time. The house provides good atmospherics especially with the odd thunderstorm & power cut thrown in. The choice of soundtrack was odd & it proved more of a diversion but who cares it was good.
Greta (2018): Typical of a Jordan screenplay it starts out very well but doesn't see it through. The excellent casting (including a compulsory appearance from Stephen Rae) however is worth your time.
Near Dark (1987): These vampires are believable even if you don't believe in vampires.
Drunken Master (1978): A window for Jackie Chan's comedic acrobatics.
War Photographer (2001): The subject has no ego and what backslapping the interviewees do is so low key. Refreshing.
