Demonlover (2002): The screenplay falls away during its last third but there is an appealing cast in Connie and Chloe.
Breath (2017): It has its moments but the irritating boy with the blond hair should wash his mouth out the next time he is underwater.
Gleaners and I, The (2000): Agnes's artistic eye could see a documentary in all manner of things and her endearing approach usually bore fruit.
Mortal Engines (2018): The special effects did their job okay but the production in the main has little to remember it by.
Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2018): A couple of likeable rogues are entertaining for the most part. The props and wardrobe (especially Melissa's dowdy attire) were well done.
Celine & Julie Go Boating (Celine et Julie vont en bateau) (1974): The opening half–hour & the final scenes are extremely good & are complemented by the outdoor locations, in particular, being beautifully shot in soft colours. The long middle section, however, meanders but it does contain some delightful light touches.
1 (One) (2013): A must for any fan(s) of motor racing.
I Think We're Alone Now (2018): The final scene is not too bad but the field for "end of the world" films is already crowded and unless they are above average they do not have much of a future.; DVD $29.95
Vampires (1998): If viewed as a comedy it is entertaining.
Rise of the Guardians (2012): Some of the voices whine but they are survivable.
