Most of the musical numbers were fine but the scenes in between didn't amount to much as both leads were only average and were out performed by the set designs.
Its biggest drawback was that everything was so predictable which wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't so predictable for so long. A commercial offering with a great soundtrack.
Because Bruce Willis is already typecast as the hard man it would have worked better if the mild–mannered Elisabeth Shue had have been the one taking on the role of the revenge seeking killing machine.
