The screenplay is a bit uneven, but there is compensation in the plot idea which is very good. The characters are hard to dislike and the music shows promise and might catch on.
There is enough in this history to interest non skate board users. The documentary has a "rough" edge to it with plenty of grainy video and home footage but its all good stuff. An interesting social history.
It does well to maintain at least some level of interest over its long viewing time – even the less interesting segments are helped through by someone from the above average cast.
