Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019): The special effects team can probably do this kind of thing with their closed by now but they are good.rnrnThe film also runs for the required two hours.
Grinch, The (2018): The characters are great and entertaining.
Bridge of San Luis Rey, The (2004): The screenplay is a bit subdued but Kathy Bates and Dominique Pinon liven things up when on camera. Good production values.
Man of the Year (2006): It is a pity a motormouth character was created to put across some worthwhile satirical points in the script. A more restrained character would not have been such a distraction.
Sensation (2010): It doesn't quite deliver what it promises but it is Irish so it is worthy of a watch.
Linguini Incident, The (1991): It doesn't quite work but it has a certain appeal all the same and it is worth a try.
Chess Players, The (1977): The screenplay was well written and interesting but the highlight was the photography in Eastmancolor, the sets, and the beautiful colours and designs of the wardrobe.
Enigma (1982): The screenplay is okay but it doesn't compare that well with a number of others in the genre.
Grumpy Old Women Live (2008): The material is not that strong but it is delivered entertainingly and with energy.
Goodbye Lenin! (2003): It is a good mix of politics and comedy. Its basic plot idea is refreshing.
