Iron Road (2009): 2/5 –
Count of Monte Cristo, The (2001): Why butcher it with a 4:3 aspect ratio? . The movie in original aspect ratio: of 1.78 : 1 deserves a 4/5.
Master and Commander - The Far Side of the World (2003): 3/5 –
Insider, The (1999): 4/5 – Very good script and dialogs. Both Pacino and Crowe are giving a superb performance. Riveting look at the media and corporate inner plays.
Young Frankenstein (1974): 4/5 – Good one with a superb brochette of actors I know from later movies: Gene Hackman, Teri Garr (Sandy in Tootsie!), and inimitable Marty Feldman!
Uwasa no onna (Her Mother's Profession, The Woman in the Rumour) (1954): 3/5 – Good analysis of a mother – daughter relationship albeit in an unusual setting.
