Noel (2004)
Susan and Penelope do their best but the screenplay is hampered by some weak/creepy male characters or poor performances (Williams and Thomas in particular).
Sky Kids (The Flyboys) (2008)- The action sequences are okay but the editing is incomplete as the film climaxes and then continues for several scenes before finding an ending.rn
King Richard (2021)
- The court re–enactments were well done. The strongest point of "Venus and Serena" (2012) was the bonding between the sisters – this dramatisation includes their three half–sisters & the family bonding was obviously a great springboard for their careers.
Silent Night (2021)- Jo–Jo Rabbit was awful and should have been skinned or at least re–directed to another career choice like deep sea diving. The screenplay had its moments but there are far better black comedies around.

Friday After Next (2002)- Aka "The Gathering of the Motor Mouths".
Shame (1988)- Although the general gist of the plot is indistinguishable from other dramas with the same theme this does have segments that are better than average and it is 80's Australian so it is worth a try.
Wound (2010)- It tried to shock its way to success – it was okay in that at least some of its material was fresh.
Dogville (2003)
The screenplay is long but refreshingly different and the proceedings are greatly aided by the distinctive voice of John Hurt.
Children Of The Silk Road (The Children of Huang Shi) (2008)- A series of adventures are handled okay but the highlight is the landscape cinematography.
Utopia (TV Series) (2014)- Season 1: Extremely well written with just the right amount of satire and with just the right exaggeration to the characters.
